The Grand Valley Children’s Choir is an auditioned choir for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. The choir rehearses weekly from September through mid March with two to four concerts each year. The rehearsal time is spent teaching healthy and age appropriate vocal techniques, learning to read music with the voice and becoming more aware that music can be a life long experience. The Grand Valley Children’s Choir has been a cornerstone of the music community for more than 25 years. It is a complementary group of the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra and it is directed by Harley Galbasini, Director and Ben McLam, Co-Director.
